Church Edition

When you have a newborn everything is new and everything is a first.  Well I'm trying my hardest to document all of the important ones.

Well this morning was Alessandra's first trip to South East Christian.  She was great, I didn't even have to think about packing up and stepping out.  One of our row-mates even commented on how good she was (and I have to be honest, I was so proud).

Like a good blogger I did document today's outing with a picture but somehow it got erased. (I found it - yeah!!!)  :o(  It was a cute one with Alessandra all snuggled up with her WeePaw and Grandmommy.  Oh well maybe next time.

Getting Started

Tonight I got to thinking...if I don't start blogging again I may never do it.  So here goes my first attempt at getting back on the blogging wagon after bringing little Alessandra home.

So today was an awesome day, my Mom (Grandmommy), Alessandra and I ran some errands.  We had several things on our list and we got two of them done - That's something - Right?!?

Anyway, we stopped by Archivers and picked up some things for Alessandra's baby book and then went by Bosom Buddies and bought me a nursing bra - Yeah, two things accomplished!!!  Now if only I could get all of my Christmas shopping done, oh well there's always tomorrow!

Tonight Alessandra and I had the house to ourselves so we ate dinner, watched a chic flick, and had some tummy time - a perfect mommy and me evening if you ask this mommy :o)

I love what it means.

I love singing Christmas carols.

I love the smell of a crackling fireplace.

I love that it brings all of my family together.

I love the new traditions Jon and I have created.

I love setting up and decorating the Christmas Tree.

I love making, baking, decorating, and eating cookies.

I love the old traditions my parents handed down to me.

I love buying my loved ones a gift and watching them open it.

I love when the weather is cold and the sparkle of a fresh snowfall.

I love my Mom's Nativity, with it's white lights and fresh cut evergreen.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

Sleepy Girl

When you're a sleepy little girl you'll sleep almost anywhere.  

But a good swaddle and some cuddles never hurt.
